received generous donations from our live auction and raffle ticket sales.

The Food Bank feeds 170, 000 hungry, sick, elderly and disabled citizens in our community monthly.

Christmas for Everyone will be serving 3-5000 people Christmas day a delicious, hearty meal. Everyone will be given a gift and offered a haircut. To volunteer sign up at cfeconcord@gmail.com

Thousands of toys are being distributed to non-profits, hospitals, the needy, sick, disabled and poor families by the Marines in our local cities right now until Christmas.

Giving is the reason for the season.

In my staging business, I believe the key to increasing the size of any small area is to maximize the function of the room while minimizing the clutter.

Clutter is a reflection of chaos in ones life. If you are preparing your home for sale, it eats equity! Discard, organize, donate and you will create an efficient feeling throughout the room.

A simple decor works best. Light fabrics, absent of print or pattern will in enlarge the area.  When selecting furniture, try to choose pieces that are taller or contain hidden storage spots.

The final way to inflate your space and add appeal to every room is with light.  Three sources of light is ideal when possible.

This event is a time to reflect on our success and give back to our community. The recipients of this years raffle and auction proceeds will assist three local nonprofit-organizations fulfill their Holiday plans.  

  •     Toys will be received and delivered to deserving children by the United States Marines.

•     The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano is feeding over 98,000 people a month and serving over 9  millions pounds of food a month.

•     Christmas for Everyone will be serving a continuous hot meal, giving hair cuts and gifts to underserved families all day December 25^th.

C. L. Design Services Professional Home Staging assisted a lovely couple prepare their home in Concord the past two weeks.  They are moving to Maryland to live near their grandchildren.  This move is bittersweet after 40 years in their home and neighborhood, but health problems and aging make the decision a necessity.

We assisted with paint color selection, clutter and storing various pieces, plus numerous recommendations to enhance the features of this property.  Our budget did not include renting furniture. This motivated couple was delightful to work with.  They removed popcorn from the ceilings, added crown molding, removed ceiling fans, retextured walls, refinished floors, painted new warm paint-this senior couple completely grasped the concept that less is more and clutter eats equity!!  We are hoping for a quick sale!!
